Kagoshima Prefecture has appointed 35 prefectural residents to the role of “KagoFan Creators” as part of efforts to promote Kagoshima as a tourism destination. 

The KagoFan Creators, whose name indicates their purpose of creating fans of Kagoshima overseas, hail from 17 nations and regions. They will promote the prefecture’s tourism assets to the world using social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. 

The creators were appointed at a ceremony in the prefectural government office in Kagoshima City on July 23 and will complete their duties by the end of February 2023. At the event, they exchanged opinions on all the great things Kagoshima has to offer tourists.
