It also sells manufactured goods that are unique to Sakurajima, such as Yogan-yaki ware ("yogan" meaning "lava") . There is also a restaurant and an information corner. Sakurajima Yogan Nagisa Park
There is a footbath with a total length of about 100m, and its source is a natural hot spring that springs from 1,000m below Sakurajima. The reddish-brown hot water gushes on, and you can gaze at the magnificent Sakurajima while soaking your feet. It's only about 8 minutes on foot from Sakurajima Port, so you can take a ferry to Sakurajima and go to the footbath, or amply enjoy the hot spring at Hotel Rainbow Sakurajima. There are also monuments engraved with waka poems by famous poets in the "Sakurajima" Lava Nagisa Park, so you can have a look while enjoying a stroll. Towels with original designs are sold at the nearby Sakurajima Visitor Center and Hotel Rainbow Sakurajima.

Yunohira Observatory
An observatory located on the 4th stop on Kita-dake in Sakurajima, the highest point, at about 373m above sea level, with an impressive roof with a cherry-petal design. Looking up from here, the appearance and volcanic smoke of Minamidake present the highlight of the scenery. Below, you can see the calm Kinko Bay and Kagoshima city area, and in the south, you can see the best scenic spot on the island which serves a panoramic view up to the Kaimondake volcano. The 360-degree panorama will not let you get bored. The night view of Kagoshima City over Kinko Bay is further away, so it looks as if it's spread in a belt-like shape.
