She arrived promptly at our hotel (standing with a sign) and we went by taxis (at our request) to the two gardens. She was very knowledgeable and informative, and her English was excellent. In addition, there were a few items we wanted to purchase, and she was very helpful in locating them. We are sorry that our time with her was so short. K & I from U.S. Upon meeting Mikiko for the first time both may wife and I felt like we were meeting a long lost friend. She was easy to talk to and we both shared many interesting stories. We booked 3 tours with her and each one was fabulous. The sand bath at Ibusuki was unforgettable experience (first time in an onsen want to go back), Chiran with the Peace Museum was a moving experience. Mt. Sakurajima managed to spew ash for us and is just a short ferry ride from the mainland. Mikiko was an excellent host and guide. M from U.S. |
