A light-up event held at Kagoshima Prefectural Yoshino Park.+B48:B52
Illuminage features motifs of various locations and traditions in Kagoshima Prefecture. There are also collaborations of traditional culture and lighting, and SDGs and illuminations, as well as attractions, photo spots and much more.
Approximately one million LED lights sparkle colorfully against the backdrop of the majestic Sakurajima volcano and the natural scenery overlooking Kinko Bay. Projection mapping collaborates beautifully with the silhouette of Sakurajima.
Illuminage is a word coined from 'illumination' and the French word 'nage', which means to swim. Illuminage lights swim, intertwine and shine, just like the lights of the aurora.
As the air grows colder at this time of year, may you be surrounded by joy at Kagoshima Illuminage.
