National fishing championships have been held on the coastal waters of the Koshikijima islands. Rich in fishes, it is a popular fishing spot among anglers.
This place also has a thriving fish farming industry, and the Kuro Maguro (Bluefin Tuna) is exceptionally famous.
The access to fresh food makes the trip to Koshikijima Island a worthy experience.
When visiting Koshikijima Island, be sure not to miss the freshly prepared Sushi and Sashimi (raw sliced fish).
