The Makurazaki Fish Center handles direct sales of fresh fish from the Makurazaki Fishing Port, which is adjacent to the Center.
In addition to fresh seafood, there is also a robust selection of products made with bonito, a Makurazaki specialty.
Speaking of food, the restaurant in the Center serves dishes featuring freshly caught fish.
There is also a tourist information center that provides information on sightseeing spots in Makurazaki and events being held in the city.

If you make a reservation at least a day in advance, you can roast bonito over a straw-fueled fire - an experience only available here, where the fish are caught!
