Marine Port Kagoshima
(マリンポートかごしま)
Both domestic and international cruise ships dock at Marine Port, fostering cross-cultural interactions. The port has open grassy areas and walking paths for visitors to stroll around and enjoy leisure activities. The waterfront plaza is open in summer for a limited duration.
After looking at the luxury cruise ships, you can observe Sakurajima from ground level. The green grass, brownish-red walking paths, and azure blue of Kinko Bay all combine beautifully with Sakurajima.
The ships that come and go add extra color to the magnificent view. Kagoshima's local mascot character, Guribu, is depicted on nine bricks on the path. Can you find all of them?
