Okidomari is one of Okinoerabu Island’s largest beaches. Tidal pools form along the beach at low tide, often containing tropical fish or crabs. Scenes from one of the original Godzilla movies were also filmed here. The beach is equipped with showers and other running water facilities. There is also a camp site available for use with prior permission. (Contact the Planning & Revitalization Division, China Town Hall, at 0997-84-3162 on a weekday between 9:00 and 17:00.)
