Hirakawa Zoo is situated in lush, subtropical Kagoshima. More than 1000 animals representing around 130 species live here.
Its prime location allows you to view the graceful gait of giraffes against the backdrop of Kagoshima's symbol - Sakurajima.Come see the koalas and white tigers, not commonly found in other Japanese zoos!
