Kirishima Shinwa no Sato Park (Kirishima Roadside Station) （霧島神話の里公園（道の駅霧島））

Located at an altitude of 670 m, this park offers a view of Kinko Bay; Sakurajima; and, on a clear day, even Mt. Kaimon. You can enjoy the view from a chair lift up a hillside, and you can slide back down on a snaking sled track. The roadside station sells local products and houses a restaurant called Hotto Kirishimakan that offers Kirishima Berkshire pork dishes and other tastes of Kirishima.
